LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements



BOARDMAN -- Donnell Ford has received Ford Motor Company's 2000 President's Award, which this year was presented to 340 of Ford's more than 5,000 dealers across the country. The award recognizes dealerships which demonstrate excellent customer satisfaction and owner loyalty, strong sales, a healthy market share and high profitability. David Flynn owns the Market Street dealership, Donny Murphy is general manager and Mark Beith is controller.
VIENNA -- John O'Connor, Sarah Andrews and Kenny Cole, all employees at Colonial Gardens in Vienna, recently acquired landscape certification from the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association Certified Technician program. O'Connor attended Hocking Technical College for horticulture and is responsible for landscape design and maintenance at Colonial Gardens. Andrews is a crew foreman in the landscape division. She has a bachelor's degree in biology from Cornerstone University in Michigan and had been employed by the Frederick Meyers Michigan Botanical Gardens. Cole, a landscape crew member, joined the company in 1999 with seven years of landscaping experience.
BOARDMAN -- Cboss Internet has been named a Microsoft Certified Partner, a certification which will give the company access to advanced development support tools and access to Microsoft products before they are released to the public. To qualify, the company demonstrated a high level of technical competency by developing programming applications using Microsoft products, playing host to Web sites with Microsoft software and having certified people on hand to deal with technical issues.
