JOSEPHINE MCKINNEY-SIBLEY, 93



YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at noon Monday at Third Baptist Church for Josephine McKinney-Sibley, 93, of 31 Maranatha Drive, who died Tuesday afternoon in Danridge's Burgundi Manor.
Mrs. McKinney-Sibley was born Sept. 7, 1907, in Woodland, Ga., a daughter of Willie and Addie Parker McKinney.
She worked as a cook at Hillman Public School before retiring.
She attended Penn-Ohio Institute Vocational School.
She was a member of the church for more than 50 years. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Bridge Club.
Her husband, Willie, whom she married June 30, 1926, died March 10, 1999.
She leaves two sons, Willie Jr. of Los Angeles and Bruce of Pasadena, Calif.; a brother, Robert McKinney of Youngstown; a sister, Ida Black of Shaker Heights; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A son, Norman; two brothers, Willie and J.C. McKinney; and four sisters, Lena Stevenson, Janie Huff, Estell Chaney and Eugena Adams, are deceased.
Friends may call one hour before the service in the church, where Covenant Chapter 48 of Eastern Star will have a service at 11:30 a.m.
Arrangements were by Sibley-Murray Funeral Home, Warren.
