HEALTH FAIR Sorority to sponsor seminar

HOWLAND -- Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Epsilon Mu Chapter, will present "Women Celebrating the Millennium" from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Avalon Inn and Resort, 9519 E. Market St., Warren.
The event will feature a "Mini Health Fair" from 8:30 to 10 a.m. sponsored by Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital. The fair will offer screenings and information in the areas of sleep disorders, blood pressure, body fat analysis, breast health, bone marrow transplants and nutrition information.
Topics: Workshops will be held that morning with the following speakers: Dr. Pamela Redden on "Female Sexuality," Atty. Elliot Legow on "Elder Law -- So Now You're a Caregiver," Crystal Lottier on "Moneywise Matters" and Carol Underwood on "Mandatory Paradigm Shift."
A luncheon and fashion drama will be featured during the afternoon session.
Donation is $25 and tickets may be purchased by calling (330) 758-1509 or from any chapter member. Proceeds will benefit scholarship fund-raisers and community outreach programs.
