MERCER, Pa. -- Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, for Frank Viglio, 71, of 378 Line Road, Mercer, who died Friday evening in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell, after a long illness.
Mr. Viglio was born Feb. 14, 1930, in Youngstown, a son of Patsy and Maryanna Manco Viglio.
He was a service technician for Sears in Hermitage for 10 years, taught air conditioning at Mercer Vo-Tech for 10 years, and was a policeman in Wheatland.
He received a degree in air conditioning and refrigeration from the University of Pittsburgh.
He leaves a daughter, Diane Weisen of Hermitage; a son, Ronald of Wheatland; two stepdaughters, Lisa Kowalsky in California and Vickie Stahlwell of Mercer; twin brothers, James of Lowellville and Patrick of Youngstown; eight grandchildren; and a companion, Carol Wallace of Sharpsville.
Two sisters and three brothers are deceased.
Friends may call two hours before the service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Children's Aid Society of Mercer County, West Market St., Mercer 16137.
