Fagerts observe 50th anniversary at luncheon



BOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. F. Ralph Fagert, 1475 Alissa Place, were honored April 22 at a noon Mass at St. Christine Church in Youngstown and a family luncheon afterward at Tippecanoe Country Club on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the celebration were their children and their spouses, Ralph T. Fagert of Columbiana, Mary Beth and Richard Strom of Cortland, Michael J. and Mary Jo Fagert of Canfield, Karen L. and James von Spiegel of Stow, Debra A. and Garth LaJuenesse of Columbus, Gregory J. and Carol Fagert of New Middletown and Ronald J. and Deborah Fagert of Boardman. Thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Fagert and the former Mary Teresa Delbrugge were married April 14, 1951, at St. Anthony Church in Bridgeport. He served in the U.S. Navy and was founder and owner of York-Mahoning Co. in Youngstown prior to retiring in 1991. He is a member of the Lions Club and the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association.
His wife is a homemaker.
The couple are members of St. Christine Church.
