EMILY JANE STANTON, 77

WARREN -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Staton-Gillen-Larkins Funeral Home for Emily Jane Stanton, 77, of 1803 Jackson S.W., who died of a stroke Friday evening in St. Joseph Health Center.
Mrs. Stanton was born Oct. 8, 1923, in Dearth, Pa., a daughter of Ora and Effie L. Armel Anderson, and came to the area in 1968 from Orville.
She was a line processor for Smuckers of Orville for seven years, retiring in 1962.
She was a member of Believer's Christian Church, Rebecca Lodge in Newton Falls and Past Noble Grands.
Her husband, Charles H., whom she married Aug. 4, 1941, died March 23, 1988.
She leaves two sons, Charles of Warren and William of Wooster; three daughters, Nancy J. and Charlene Stanton, both of Warren, and Sharon Boggs of Newton Falls; two brothers, Ora Anderson Jr. of Warren and William Anderson of Little Washington, Pa.; two sisters, Betty Clark and Marie Metz, both of Brownsville, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
A son, Edward, is deceased.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
