NORTH LIMA -- A combined memorial service will be at 2 p.m. May 6 at Glenellen Senior Suites and Villas-Lakeside, North Lima, for Charles J. Little II, 82, who died Thursday evening in Beeghly Oaks, Boardman, and for his wife, Lois B. Little, 80, of Glenellen, who died Nov. 3, 2000.
Mr. Little was born Dec. 26, 1918, in Youngstown, a son of Charles J. and Irene Stanley Little.
He attended The Rayen School, Mercersburg Academy and Lehigh University. During World War II, he was a major with the Army Air Forces in Europe, serving in the ordnance corps.
He was president of C.J. Little & amp; Son Mechanical Contractors until 1977. It was founded in 1898 by his grandfather. Mr. Little moved to Venice, Fla., where he worked in the purchasing department of Gulf Shamrock Mechanical Contractors for 13 years.
He was a member of Youngstown Rotary, Elks, Masonic Lodge, Al Koran Shrine and Youngstown Country Club. He was a former president of Mahoning Valley Builders Association and a trustee for Mahoning Valley Master Plumbers Association.
He leaves two daughters, Carole Alcorn of Columbiana and Linda Ramage of Lakewood; a son, Randall C. of Boardman; five grandsons; and a great-grandson.
Two sisters, Kathryn Rosevear and Anna F. O'Dea, are deceased.
