MARY CHELIRAS, 71

LOWELLVILLE -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland, and at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Lowellville, for Mary Cheliras, 71, of 233 W. Wood St., who died Wednesday morning at her son's home in Campbell.
Mrs. Cheliras was born Feb. 4, 1930, in Lowellville, a son of Anthony and Loretta Tirabassi Mariotti, and lived in the area all of her life.
She was a travel consultant for AAA Ohio Motorists Association for 52 years, retiring last year, and was a member of the church.
Her husband, George A., whom she married Nov. 25, 1950, died in May 1975.
She leaves two sons, David G. of Campbell and John of Lowellville; one sister, Anne Mariotti of Boardman; one brother, Alfred Mariotti of Hillsville; and a granddaughter.
One daughter, Diane Cheliras, a sister Jesse Pratt and four brothers, Paul, William, Albert and Alex Mariotti are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown 44512.
