JAMES HOWARD TUBBS, 26

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Howard Funeral Home for James Howard Tubbs, 26, of 3175 Pine Hollow Drive, who died of congestive heart failure Monday at his home.
Mr. Tubbs was born Sept. 6, 1974, in Youngstown, a son of James H. and Pearl Tubbs Scissum. He was a machinist at Rock Creek Aluminum in Elyria and was a Baptist.
Besides his mother, Pearl Thomas of Austintown, and stepfather, Oscar L. Thomas of Youngstown, he leaves his wife, the former Gracie Berger, whom he married April 11, 1997; a son, James M. of Youngstown; a stepson, Andre Berger of Youngstown; a daughter, Jameka J. of Youngstown; a stepdaughter, Tiara Berger of Youngstown; two brothers, Andre Tubbs and Reginald Scissum, both of Youngstown; a half brother, Kenneth Mostellar in Alabama; three sisters, Betty Myers, Lisette L. Tubbs and Chimire C. Scissum, all of Youngstown; and a half sister, Wand G. Scissum of Youngstown.
His father and his grandmother, Marcella Tubbs, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today and for a half-hour before services at the funeral home.
