BERNICE M. JONES, 73

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Beulah Baptist Church for Bernice M. Jones, 73, of 124 E. Boston Ave., who died Tuesday morning in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Mrs. Jones was born Oct. 2, 1927, in Atmore, Ala., a daughter of Elmore Sr. and Mary J. Duke Williams. She came to Youngstown in 1945.
She was a housekeeper for various families in the area and was a member of the church.
She leaves six daughters, Mary J. Tyson, Shirley J. Blair, Cynthia L. Jones and Beverly A. Jones, all of Youngstown, Mattie P. Jones of Alexandria, Va., and Gayle L. McQueen of Columbus; two sons, Arthur E. of San Diego, Calif., and William A. Jr. of Youngstown; four brothers, Jesse Williams of Youngstown, Sterling Selson of Albuquerque, N.M., Elmore Williams Jr. and George C. Williams, both of Atmore, Ala.; a sister, Mary L. Alexander of Youngstown; 22 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Dorothy J. Jones, and a half sister, Annie R. Smith, are deceased.
Friends may call one hour before services in the church. Arrangements are by Mason Funeral Home.
