ALFRED J. AMATORE, 77



COLUMBIANA -- There will be no services for Alfred J. Amatore, 77, of 333 W. Salem St., who died Wednesday evening in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Mr. Amatore was born July 21, 1923, in Youngstown, a son of Anthony and Dominica Amatore and lived in the area his entire life.
He served in the Army's 95th infantry during World War II. He had worked as a crane operator for Republic Steel for 37 years before retiring in 1981.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Youngstown.
His first wife, the former Elizabeth Tuccio, whom he married May 1, 1948, died Dec. 31, 1976.
Besides his second wife, the former Katherine Roberts, whom he married Nov. 4, 1980, he leaves a son, Gary Amatore of Akron; a daughter, Brenda LaRocca of North Lima; four stepsons, Steve and Dwayne Carlisle, both of Salem, Keith Carlisle of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Kenneth Carlisle of Tampa, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Julie Houchins of Salem; and four grandchildren.
There are no calling hours.
Arrangements were made by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
