AGNES C. PALMER, 82

AUSTINTOWN -- Services will be at 11:45 a.m. Saturday at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home and at 12:15 p.m. Saturday in St. Christine Church for Agnes C. Palmer, 82, of Briarfield Manor Nursing Home, who died Thursday morning at the home.
Mrs. Palmer was born Nov. 11, 1918, in Struthers, a daughter of Michael and Mary LaBuda Macala. She retired in 1980 from the Mahoning County Courthouse, where she worked in the microfilm department.
A member of the church, she served on the Altar and Rosary Society and was a member of the Public Retirees organization.
She leaves two sons, Ernest W. Jr. of Mineral Ridge and Robert J. of Boardman; a brother, Jerome Macala of Euclid, Ohio; two sisters, Margaret P. Foley of Austintown and Rita Balash of Struthers; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Three brothers and five sisters are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
