RUTH LOUISE MOYERS, 71

CORTLAND -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Cortland Church of the Nazarene for Ruth Louise Moyers, 71, of 293 Park Ave., who died Tuesday evening in Washington Square Nursing Home in Warren.
Mrs. Moyers was born Dec. 5, 1929, in Warren, a daughter of Roy P. and Hazel E. Elliott Mayhugh. She moved to Cortland 37 years ago from Leavittsburg.
She was a clerk for Hills Department Store in Champion for 15 years and retired in 1992. She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and had attended Olivette Nazarene College. She was a member of the church.
Besides her husband, Herman E., whom she married Sept. 15, 1956, she leaves a daughter, Rae Nell Roberts of Cortland; a son, Phillip E. of Niles; a sister, Nevelle Turner of Champion; and four grandchildren.
A brother, Roy Mayhugh Jr., and two sisters, Marjorie Pierce and Mary Ellen Mayhugh, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Shafer-Winans & amp; Lamer Funeral Home and one hour before the service Friday in the church. Contributions may be made to the church.
