MATILDA RICHARDS, 85

NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, Youngstown, for Matilda Richards, 85, of 9555 Struthers Road, who died Tuesday evening in Forum Health Northside Medical Center, Youngstown.
Mrs. Richards was born Aug. 30, 1915, in McKees Rocks, Pa., a daughter of Karl and Anna Stupik Stein, and came to the area in 1960 from Pittsburgh.
She was a member of the church, its Friendship Class and choir. She was a volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels from 1973 to 1989.
Her husband, Jasper B., whom she married Sept. 21, 1940, died Feb. 28, 1995.
Among others, she leaves a sister, Mary Hattman of Nokomis, Fla.
A brother, Karl C. Stein, is deceased.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the service in the church. Arrangements are by Thompson Funeral Home in Youngstown.
