WARREN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Peter Rossi & amp; Son Memorial Chapel for Mary A. Carby, 77, of 1462 Southern Blvd. N.W., who died Wednesday afternoon in St. Joseph Health Center.
Mrs. Carby was born Aug. 29, 1923, in Warren, a daughter of Nicholas T. and Ethel A. Carlisle Makris.
She was a Warren G. Harding graduate and retired in 1966 from Loblaws supermarket, where she had worked as a meat cutter for 23 years.
Her husband, Joseph H., whom she married March 12, 1960, died July 19, 1981.
She leaves four sons, William Rudolph of Sharon, Joseph Rudolph of Newton Falls and Carey Rudolph and Joseph Carby, both of Warren; a stepdaughter, Sharon Pagano of Poland; a brother, George N. Makris, of Warren; a sister, Georgia Kellar of Warren; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Rita Cooper; and a sister, Dora Hafner, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and a half-hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
