MERCER, Pa. -- A family memorial service will be at 8:30 p.m. Friday at R. Cunningham Funeral Home, New Castle, for Harry L. Wright Jr., 89, of 7266 W. Market St., who died Wednesday morning at home.
Mr. Wright was born May 6, 1911, in New Castle, a son of Harry L. Sr. and Mary Overmoyer Wright. He was a mechanic for Bailey Sales & amp; Service in New Castle.
His first wife, the former Rachael A. Nicholls, died May 24, 1968. His second wife, the former Francis Haggerty, died May 30, 1990.
He leaves a daughter, Phyllis A. Stevenson of Mercer; four sons, Harry L. III of New Castle, David G. of Panama City, Fla., and Richard J. and Edward E., both of Spartanburg, S.C.; a stepdaughter, Deborah Morse of Ottawa, Canada; a stepson, David Morse of Columbus; two brothers, Eugene R. Wright of Sun City Center, Fla., and James S. of Mechanicsville, Va.; 21 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
A son, William; three brothers, William, Joseph and Charles; and a sister, Amy Macom, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
