HARLAND LEE MARSHALL, 51
YOUNGSTOWN -- Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Trinity Lutheran Church, Niles, for Harland Lee Marshall, 51, of 3612 Valerie Drive, who died of cancer Tuesday morning at home.
Mr. Marshall was born June 27, 1949, in Youngstown, a son of Alfred and Gladys Ripple Marshall, and lived in Youngstown most of his life.
He worked for American Weather Seal Co. of Youngstown for 15 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of the church, a graduate of The Rayen School, and had served in the Army.
Besides his wife, the former Cheryl Blum, whom he married Dec. 24, 1989, he leaves a daughter, Tracy Willrich of Girard; a son, Derek L. of Deepgap, N.C.; two brothers, Bruce Watson of Belvidere, Ill., and Jeff Balcheck of Pittsburgh; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley or Youngstown State University's Athletic Department.
