FILIPPINA MEMO, 104

NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Vitus Church for Filippina Memo, 104, of 520 Friendship St., formerly of 1137 Eastbrook St., who died Wednesday in Jameson Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Memo was born Feb. 7, 1897, in Pietrabondante, Italy, a daughter of Sabatino and Victoria Sforza. She was a homemaker and was a member of the church.
Her husband, Nick, to whom she was married for 52 years, died in January 1972.
She leaves four sons, Ted, Samuel, Nick and Dave Memo, all of New Castle; two daughters, Alice Bonfield of New Castle and Lucy DeGruttola of Princeton, Pa.; a brother, Florentine Sforza in Italy; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
A son, John; four brothers; and three sisters, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Noga Funeral Home.
