YOUNGSTOWN 2 men, 3 women hurt in 3 stabbing attacks

Two of the stabbings were related to domestic disturbances.
YOUNGSTOWN -- In attacks late Tuesday and early today, two men and three women suffered stab wounds.
A domestic dispute left Laura Dothard, 40, of Lexington Avenue, in serious condition at St. Elizabeth Health Center with multiple stab wounds to her abdomen.
Police found Dothard in a pool of blood at her home about 12:15 a.m. today. She told them her live-in boyfriend had attacked her during an argument. As of this morning, police had not located the boyfriend.
Another case: Police said Demeta J. Lee, 27, of Helena Avenue, stabbed herself repeatedly in the abdomen when they arrived at the scene of a break-in on East LaClede Avenue about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday.
She received treatment at St. Elizabeth's and was then taken to the county jail.
Officers had to pull the resident of the house away from Lee's grasp. The 61-year-old victim, John Johnson, received treatment for cuts to his head.
Lee had swung the knife wildly and fallen through a window and over an ironing board as she stabbed herself, police said. At the hospital, she reportedly told police, "So what if I got coked up [using cocaine] and busted some windows. It ain't like I killed someone."
2 wounded: Another domestic dispute that involved a mother, son, daughter and her fianc & eacute; flared up on Belden Avenue about 12:10 this morning.
The mother, Cassandra Hunter, 43, of Krieger Lane, received treatment for a cut to her right wrist.
The daughter, Taneka Patterson, 26, of Belden, told police that she grabbed a knife when her boyfriend started fighting with her brother. Police, who considered Patterson the aggressor, took her to the county jail.
The boyfriend, Eric Hall, 33, of Belden, was stabbed several times in the back. His condition at Forum Health Northside Medical Center wasn't immediately available.
