MURIEL E. YOUNG, 79

MINERAL RIDGE -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge, for Muriel E. Young, 79, of 1068 Salt Springs Road, who died Tuesday morning in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.
Mrs. Young was born March 21, 1922, in Caldwell, Ohio, a daughter of Ray E. and Jessie G. Christopher Hess.
A 1940 graduate of Mineral Ridge High School, she was a homemaker and had worked at Niles Steel Products during World War II. She was a member of Lordstown Christian Church and attended programs at the Easter Seal Society.
Besides her husband, Elmer, whom she married Sept. 27, 1944, she leaves a daughter, Judy Young of Sharon; a son, Rick at home; a sister, Ermagene Stephens of Niles; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
