JOHN MELNICK, 81



BOARDMAN -- Services were to be today in Good Hope Lutheran Church, here, for John Melnick, 81, of 7003 Claybourne Ave., who died late Sunday in Forum Health Beeghly Medical Center's emergency room.
Mr. Melnick was born June 6, 1919, in New York City, a son of Paul and Mary Sachko Melnick. He was employed by Keystone Bakery as a driver and salesman for 33 years before retiring in 1981.
He was a member of the church. He had been shop steward for Teamsters Local 377 and was a member of the Rocky Bay Boat Club. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Besides his wife, the former Elaine Hall, whom he married Sept. 20, 1943, he leaves a son, John R. of Cleveland, and a grandson.
A daughter, Sharon Melnick, and a sister, Ann Lane Wronsky, are deceased.
Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund. Arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home.
