SHARPSVILLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McGonigle Funeral Home, Sharon, for Donald A. DeHoff, 73, of 3650 Tamarack Drive, who died Sunday evening in Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Mr. DeHoff was born June 3, 1927, in Sharon, a son of George L. and Zita M. Kelly DeHoff, and was a lifelong area resident.
A graduate of Sharon High School, he was a roll grinder for Sharon Steel for 40 years and retired in 1989.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Sharon and Sharon Steel Golf League and was a volunteer for Yankee Run Golf Course in Brookfield. He was a World War II Navy signalman on a hospital ship in the South Pacific.
Besides his wife, the former Marian M. Williams, whom he married June 30, 1951, he leaves three daughters, Karen L. Kramer of Pittsburgh, Kathy S. Morrison of Syracuse, N.Y., and Connie R. Flowers of Hermitage; two brothers, Richard in New York and Robert in Florida; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
