Police seek identity of burned body

YOUNGSTOWN -- City police are trying to identify the body of a man who was found dead Monday morning in a car that had been destroyed by fire.
Police found the car -- a 1988 burgundy Pontiac 6000 -- between Chicago and Earle avenues. at 5:13 a.m. Monday. The body was taken to the morgue at the Mahoning County coroner's office.
Police are investigating the death as a homicide.
