PEGGY M. PATTERSON, 89

SHARPSVILLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Second Baptist Church here for Peggy M. Patterson, 89, of 425 N. Mercer Ave., who died early Monday in UPMC Horizon, Greenville.
Mrs. Patterson was born April 6, 1912, in Akron. She was employed as a pipe fitter for Sawhill Tubular in Wheatland. She also worked at Westinghouse and at Camp Reynolds, an Army depot in Transfer.
A member of the church, she served as usher and was on its missionary board.
Her husband, Perry L., whom she married in 1926, died Aug. 11, 1987.
She leaves a son, Marvin Patterson at home; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Two brothers are deceased.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until services in the church.
Arrangements are by Shannon Funeral Home, Wheatland.
