MATILDA V. CARBONE, 82

STRUTHERS -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland, and at 10 a.m. in St. Nicholas Church, Struthers, for Matilda V. Carbone, 82, of Maplecrest Nursing Home, formerly of Creed Street, who died late Saturday at the home.
Mrs. Carbone was born Oct. 13, 1918, in Lowellville, a daughter of Felix and Mary Antonio Duluchie Perry, moving to Struthers in 1943. A homemaker, she was a member of the church and had attended Lowellville High School.
Her husband, John L., whom she married April 23, 1938, died July 28, 1998.
She leaves two daughters, Lois Dunnavant of Poland and Virginia Derloni of Erie; a son, John E. of Struthers; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Rose Perry, Clara McMahon and Grace Wilhelm; and two brothers, Girard and Samuel Perry, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
