YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home for Kenneth Ziemke, 67, of 3917 Cascade Drive, who died of a heart attack Sunday afternoon at Beeghly Medical Center, where he was taken after being stricken at home.
Mr. Ziemke was born Oct. 26, 1933, in Versailles, Pa., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ziemke. He retired in 1991 as a residential sales representative for Ohio Edison Co., where he worked for many years. He was a Methodist and a Mason.
Besides his wife, the former Deborah Weldon, whom he married May 26, 1995, he leaves two sons, Karl of Alliance and Kevin of Indianapolis; three daughters, Barbara Mitchell of Alliance, Paula McCann of Chicago and Karen Rauch of Columbus; a foster son, Mark Sandler of Rockville, Md.; a brother, Robert of Versailles; and 13 grandchildren.
A brother, Glen, is deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
