JANE SPARKS-RODGERS, 76

WARREN -- Services will be at noon Wednesday at Sibley-Murray Funeral Home for Jane Sparks-Rodgers, 76, of 1125 Palmyra Road S.W., who died early Friday in St. Joseph Medical Center.
Mrs. Sparks-Rodgers was born April 5, 1925, in Birmingham, Ala., a daughter of Will and Katie Moore Johnson. A 1941 graduate of Thomas High School in Birmingham, she was a caregiver and housekeeper for the Katherine Harding family for 40 years, retiring in 1990. She was of the Baptist faith.
Besides her husband, Mose Jr., whom she married in July 1978, she leaves a daughter, Linda Fomby of Youngstown; three brothers, Sammie L. Sr. of Warren, William of San Francisco, Calif., and Melvin of Birmingham, Ala.; and five grandchildren.
A son, John H. Armstrong; two brothers, John A. and Curtis Johnson; and two sisters, Beatrice Johnson and Allene Pugh, are deceased.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until services Wednesday at the funeral home.
