ROSE M. DiBACCO, 78 Co-founder of Manor Avenue PTA



STRUTHERS -- Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Nicholas Church, here, for Rose M. DiBacco, 78, of 681 Poland Ave., who died Saturday in Boardman Community Care Center, Boardman.
Mrs. DiBacco was born May 14, 1922, in Struthers, a daughter of Liberato and Felicia Dellorso DiCioccio. She had been a clerk at Strouss Department Store for 13 years and last worked in 1973.
A member of the church, its Altar & amp; Rosary Society, its Senior Citizens and its St. Anthony's Women's Bowling League, she attended Struthers High School and was a volunteer tour guide for Classic Heritage Tours for 10 years.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Women's Auxiliary, where she held various offices, was a member of Lowellville Senior Citizens, St. Anthony's Society and had been co-founder and first president of the Manor Avenue PTA.
Her husband, Sam, whom she married Nov. 17, 1945, died Feb. 25, 2001.
She leaves twin sons, Donald of Howland and Ronald of Struthers; two daughters, Sandra DiBacco-Tusinac and Agatha VanBrocklin of Poland; two sisters, Mary DeCrow of Salem and Laura Lariccia of Boardman; and five grandchildren.
A sister, Antoinette DiCioccio, and three brothers, James, Louis and Sam DiCioccio, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Fabrizio Funeral Home, where a Cursillo Bible service will be at 8 p.m.
