HOWLAND -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Roberts-Clark Memorial Home, Warren, for Robert W. Baxter, 68, of 435 North Road S.E., who died Saturday in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren.
Mr. Baxter was born Jan. 29, 1933, in Warren, a son of William and Katherine Chappel Baxter.
He was a machinist who worked at Wean United and Glunt Machine Co. in Warren before retiring in 1993. He was also a school bus driver for Howland Schools for many years.
His wife, the former Mary Lou Soriano, whom he married June 19, 1954, died Dec. 24, 1995.
He leaves two sons, David of Warren and Jeff of Clearwater, Fla.; a brother, Charles of Okeechobee, Fla.; a sister, Charlotte McGill of Mecca; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
