PETER BURACZEWSKI, 86

CHERRY VALLEY -- Services will be at noon Tuesday in Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Andover, for Peter Buraczewski, 86, of 3610 Sentinel Road, who died Friday in University Hospital in Cleveland.
Mr. Buraczewski was born Oct. 14, 1914, in Penn, Pa., a son of Marcin and Franciszka Chmielowska Buraczewski, and had lived in Cherry Valley since 1969 when he moved from Cleveland.
He was a nurse more than 27 years at University Hospital, retiring in 1974, and was a member of the church.
His wife, the former Helena Kaczmarak, whom he married Feb. 7, 1937, died Feb. 20, 1994.
He leaves a daughter, Jadwiga Solarek of Cherry Valley; a son, Bogdan of Howell, Mich.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A grandson is deceased.
Arrangements are by Baumgardner Funeral Home in Andover.
