MIKE J. STORTI, 82 Owned Coffee Run Mobile Home Park
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Lowellville for Mike J. Storti, 82, of Indian Creek Nursing Home, formerly of Edinburg, who died Sunday morning at the nursing home.
Mr. Storti was born July 7, 1918, in Edinburg, a son of John and Mary Bucilli Storti.
He was first helper in the Youngstown Sheet and Tube for 26 years retiring in 1974 and owned and operated the Coffee Run Mobile Home Park, which he developed in 1969.
He attended the Dewberry School House, which later became his home. He was an Army veteran during World War II serving in the 69th Tank Destroyer Battalion and earning the Good Conduct Medal, the Silver Medal, five Bronze Stars and the American, African, European and Middle Eastern Service Medals.
Besides his wife, the former Anna Thomas, whom he married March 14, 1941, he leaves a daughter, Mary Ellen Baird of Girard; a son, Michael Storti of Lowellville; and two grandchildren.
A sister, Carmel Cicuto, and three brothers, Louis, Patsy and Carl, are deceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
