Johnson, Bowers ink NFL contracts



Youngstown State's All-American linebacker, Tim Johnson, signed a free agent contract with the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens today.
Johnson will attend a mini-camp starting Thursday.
Also, R.J. Bowers of Grove City College and West Middlesex, the all-time rushing and scoring leader in NCAA Division III football history, signed a free agent contract Sunday with the Carolina Panthers.
Bowers, who finished his career with 7,353 yards and 91 touchdowns, will attempt to make the Panthers' roster as a fullback.
