NILES -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Reese-Wynn-Winyard-McDermott-Laird Funeral Home for Georgina A. Cubbins, 83, of 708 Lafayette Ave., who died Friday night in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren.
Mrs. Cubbins was born April 21, 1917, in Youngstown, a daughter of Alexander and Georgina Kemp Shepherd, and had lived here 34 years after coming from Youngstown. She was a dietary technician at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital in Howland.
Her first husband Paul R. Cole, is deceased, and her second husband, William Cubbins, whom she married Feb. 23, 1968, died March 31, 2000.
She leaves two sons, Norman P. Cole of Peoria, Ariz., and Edward D. Cole of Niles, with whom she made her home; two daughters, Cheryl Askerneese of Warren and Darla Frano of Boardman; a sister, Mary Love of Boardman; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
A son, James E. Cubbins; two brothers, James and Robert Shepherd; two sisters, Lucille Forsythe and Betty McGee; and a great-granddaughter are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and one hour before the service Thursday at the funeral home.
