ANN VISA, 80 Owned Visa's Tavern with husband



BOARDMAN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Sts. Peter & amp; Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Youngstown, for Ann Visa, 80, of 4120 Euclid Blvd., who died early Saturday in Forum Health Northside Medical Center, where she had been a patient for four days.
Mrs. Visa, who was known as "Honey," was born Sept. 8, 1920, in Youngstown, a daughter of Sam and Stella Tylka Cyktor, and was a lifelong area resident.
A graduate of South High School, she was a homemaker, and with her husband was owner and operator of Visa's Tavern on Youngstown's South Side from 1940 to 1992.
She was a member of the church, its St. Mary's Sisterhood and choir, and volunteered for many church projects including bingo. She was a member of the Senior Ukrainian Orthodox League and was an originator and adviser of the Junior Ukrainian Orthodox League.
Her husband, Nick, whom she married Nov. 23, 1940, died Aug. 9, 1992.
She leaves a son, John of Fresno, Calif.; a daughter, Yvonne Mark of Poland; a sister, Mary Speirs of Youngstown; and two grandchildren.
A sister, Virginia Margiotta, is deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Kinnick Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be at 6:30 p.m.
