ANCEL M. KESNER, 85



HUBBARD -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home for Ancel M. Kesner, 85, of 340 Hager St., who died Saturday night at O'Brien Memorial Nursing Home in Masury after a short illness.
Mr. Kesner was born May 30, 1915, in Nemours, W.Va., a son of Manley and Octavia Lou Bolt Kesner, and moved to Liberty in 1917 and to Hubbard in 1927.
He retired in 1975 as a layout leader for Truscon Steel Division of LTV of Youngstown, where he worked 39 years. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hubbard.
His wife, the former Geraldine Hesson, whom he married Dec. 11, 1936, died Feb. 18, 1993.
He leaves two sons, William W. of Wooster and James H. of Hubbard; two sisters, Ruth Hettrick and Barbara Davis, both of Hubbard; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Five brothers, Woodrow, Carl, George, Manley and Harvey; and two sisters, Ethel Lindsay and Lorena Deane, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
