YOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Shannon Bray, daughter of Samuel and Margaret Bray of Youngstown, and Richard Schobel, son of Paul and Barbara Schobel of Austintown, took place at 5:30 p.m. April 21 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.
The Rev. D. Larry Kline officiated, and a reception followed at the center.
The bride's white satin strapless gown was enhanced with beaded silver lace. The skirt featured a side pleat with lace inlay and fell to a chapel train.
Matron of honor was Kerry Pregibon, and bridesmaids were Annamarie Toland and Trista Onesti. Junior bridesmaids were Brittany Schobel, the groom's niece, and Melissa Barger, the bride's cousin. Hannah Schobel, the groom's niece, was flower girl.
Bradley Sheridan performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were J.J. Zetts and Steven Boyce.
Mrs. Schobel attended Kent State University and is employed as a jeweler at LeRoy's Jewelers in Boardman.
Her husband graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in music. He is an independent contractor working as a backline technician.
