Santarellis feted at surprise party for anniversary

BOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Santarelli Sr., 216 Forest Park Drive, were honored April 20 at a surprise reception in the Great Hall at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Arrangements for the event were made by the couple's children and daughter-in-law, Patricia A. Santarelli of Poland and Robert J. Jr. and Cindy Santarelli of Boardman. Two grandchildren complete their family.
The former Patricia H. Marinelli and Mr. Santarelli were married April 26, 1951, at St. Dominic Church in Youngstown.
Mr. Santarelli retired in 1991 from Woodside Receiving Hospital, where he was a deputy sheriff and chief of police. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and is a member of the Lake Milton Boat Club.
His wife is a homemaker.
The Santarellis are members of St. Dominic Church.
