Veteran writes 2 books
Leo D. Gallagher, a former Sebring man convicted in 1958 of armed robbery and sent to Massillon State Hospital, has written two books. Gallagher, who now lives in Orlando, has published "Depraved," and "One for the Boneyard." Both books are from Trafford Publishing.
Gallagher, who was wounded during service in the Korean War and was much decorated, wrote "Depraved" about his formative years. "One From the Boneyard" is about his service during the Korean War.
Gallagher sued the United States in 1962 for $400,000, declaring that his war injuries caused his crimes.
The books are available at www.trafford.com or by calling (888)232-4444.
