BOARDMAN -- The marriage of Leslie Anne Sell and Daniel Joseph Murphy, both of Massillon, was solemnized by the Rev. Daniel Venglarik at 1:30 p.m. April 21 at St. Charles Church.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James T. Sell and the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Murphy, all of Boardman, were honored during a reception that was held at the Maronite Center, Youngstown. After a wedding trip to Punta Cana the couple will live in Massillon.
Detailed with sequins and pearls, the bride's white satin A-line gown featured an organza overlay and a chapel train.
Periwinkle gowns were worn by Julie Conti, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Danielle Schuler, Chris Marzich, Liz Phillips, Mollie Kay, Janet Dickey, Maria Alfano and Gina Hammenton. The junior bridesmaid was Jackie Weber, and flower girl was Patricia Ritter.
Best man was John Murphy, and groomsmen were Chris Albrecht, Bob Lopatta, Jim Hughes, Jim Campbell, Mike Bloomberg, Brent Smith, Donnie Belosic, Gary Valko and Ryan Sell. Ring bearer was Joe Weber.
The bride, a family physician and second-year resident at Barberton Citizens Hospital, Akron, earned a bachelor's degree at Youngstown State University and a medical degree at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Rootstown.
The groom holds a bachelor's degree in education from YSU and a master's from the University of Toledo. He is a truant officer and assistant varsity head football coach with Massillon City School System.
