VERA C. REED-BARNES, 75



WARREN -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Second Baptist Church for Vera C. Reed-Barnes, 75, of 1761 Stonehenge Ave. N.E., who died early Wednesday in Washington Square Nursing Home after a long illness.
Mrs. Reed-Barnes was born April 23, 1925, in Youngstown, a daughter of Eddie and Rebecca Wallace Callion. She had been a press operator for Packard Electric for 17 years before retiring in 1988.
A 1943 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, she attended Wilkins School of Cosmetology in Cleveland. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, its nurses guild and Deborah Circle. She was also a member of the Jaugs Club, Queen Esther Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and had been affiliated with Epsilon Kappa Nu Sorority.
She leaves three daughters, Cathy D. Stringer and Rebecca S. Reed, both of Warren, and Lynda R. Golden-Martin of Dayton; two brothers, Edward and Harvey Callion both of Warren; three sisters, Dorothy Powell of Buffalo, N.Y., Gladys Davenport of Ann Arbor, Mich., and L. Maxine Morgan of Columbus; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A brother, Alvin Callion, and a sister, Ora Brimmer, are deceased.
Friends may call from noon until time of services in the church Monday.
Arrangements are by Sibley-Murray Funeral Home.
