AUSTINTOWN -- Construction of a library at Raccoon Road and Falcon Drive will cost about $3.2 million, according to contracts awarded Thursday.
Caputo/Matini of Cleveland won the general construction contract at $2.1 million. Gunton/Pella will do windows and doors at $230,425, Joe Dickey Electric, Beaver Township, will do electrical work at $410,340. Plumbing work goes to Charniga Plumbing, Poland Township, at $63,500.
Other contracts are Vizmeg Landscape, $140,491; and Thompson Mechanical of Warren, $177,758. The sprinkler contract will be rebid because the only one received far exceeded the budget, the library system said.
