JACK GIBBONS, 75



YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Patrick Church for Jack Gibbons, 75, of 3110 Flo Lor Drive, who died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center after a short illness.
Mr. Gibbons was born March 2, 1926, in St. Paul, Minn., a son of William C. and Catherine Gath Gibbons, and moved to Youngstown 70 years ago.
He was a retired maintenance department worker for the William Pollock Co. He was a member of the church and the Army Navy Lodge. He served in the Navy during World War II aboard the USS Yorktown.
His wife, the former Helen Hillman, whom he married June 16, 1963, died in 1994.
He leaves several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home.
