DR. CAROL MABEL TROESCHER, 74 Resident doctor at Northern Illinois



YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Shriver-Allison-Courtley-Weller-King Funeral Home for Dr. Carol Mabel Troescher, 74, of 400 E. New York St., Aurora, Ill., formerly of Youngstown, who died Tuesday in Delnor Community Hospital, Batavia, Ill.
Dr. Troescher was born April 13, 1927, in Buffalo, Ill., a daughter of Karl W. and Mabel Edwards Troescher.
She graduated with a bachelors degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, and received her masters and doctoral degrees in education from Indiana University.
She was resident director of Williston Hall and director of the Conference Bureau at Northern Illinois University. She established the foundation "Realities of Death and Dying" as a Thanatologist, teaching, consoling and providing workshops to many individuals and groups in that area.
She leaves a sister, Natalie Perry of Plant City, Fla.
