Derby seeks entrants
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Greater Youngstown Area SoapBox Derby is looking for more participants from the Mahoning and Shenango valleys and Trumbull and Columbiana counties in particular. Volunteers also are being sought to assist the kids with their cars, as well as registration, track security and other duties on race days. Health fair planned
YOUNGSTOWN -- There will be a community health fair from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Temple Emmanuel Seventh-day Adventist Church, 108 W. Indianola Ave., which is sponsoring the event with Samuel L. Osborne Health and Community Services Group. There will also be a lecture on strokes at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church. A low-impact aerobics class is held at 5:30 p.m. Thursdays.
