ANNA SOPHIE SZYMANSKI, 85



WARREN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Anna Sophie Szymanski, 85, of 700 Oak Knoll, N.E., who died Thursday evening in Horizon Village Nursing Home after a long illness.
Mrs. Szymanski was born June 22, 1915, in Orient, Pa., a daughter of Albert and Mary Orwitz Zaucha. She was a homemaker and a member of the church and its Altar and Rosary Society and the Polish National Alliance. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, sewing and cooking.
Her husband, Victor F. Sr., whom she married July 2, 1938, died May 6, 1997.
She leaves two sons, Victor C. of Howland and John V. of Warren; two brothers, Stanley Zaucha of Warren and Edward Zaucha of Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Helen Blazek of Warren; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, John and Joe Zaucha, a sister, Mary Zaucha, and a grandson are deceased.
Friends may call one hour before the service in the church. The Sinchak & amp; Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Canfield.
