YOUNGSTOWN -- Services were Friday morning in St. Matthias Church for Joseph J. Surack Sr., 78, of 2544 Hunter St., who died Monday in Carrington South Rehabilitation Care Center. Mr. Surack was born Aug. 23, 1922, in Exeter, Pa., a son of Joseph and Elizabeth Balberchak Surack, and lived in this area most of his life. He was a stationary engineer for Republic Steel Corp. for 37 years and retired in 1984. Arrangements were by Kubina-Yuhasz Funeral Home.

LAKE MILTON -- Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Weston, W.Va., for Margaret E. Burr, 95, of Briarfield at Ashley Place, Austintown, formerly of Lake Milton and Weston, who died April 13 at her residence. Mrs. Burr was born Jan. 10, 1906, in Weston, W.Va., a daughter of Rev. C. A. and Sarah Montgomery Hinkle. She was a homemaker. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
