KENNETH E. THOMPSON, 52 Was controller for R.C. Bottling Co.



BOARDMAN -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home for Kenneth E. Thompson, 52, of 246 Wildwood Drive, who died, apparently of a heart attack, Thursday morning in his home.
Mr. Thompson was born June 23, 1948, in Youngstown, a son of Raymond E. and Fern J. Wrikeman Thompson. A 1966 graduate of Chaney High School and a 1972 graduate of Youngstown State University, he was controller for Lyden Oil Co. for six years. He was then controller for Dunning-Crum R.C. Cola Bottling Co. in Youngstown and R.C. Cola Bottling Co. in Akron for more than 25 years. He was a member of the Boardman Band and Orchestra Parents.
Besides his mother of Youngstown, he leaves his wife, the former Virginia L. Nelson, whom he married Oct. 7, 1972; three daughters, Jamie L. and Kimberly R. Thompson, both at home, and Stacie A. Rosenburg of Boardman; and two brothers, Thomas R. of Youngstown, and William L. of Twinsburg.
A son died in infancy.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and one hour before services at the funeral home.
