ELIZABETH B. REES, 95



YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. John's Episcopal Church for Elizabeth B. Rees, 95, of Glenview Manor, Mineral Ridge, formerly of Granada Avenue, Youngstown, who died Thursday morning at the nursing home.
Mrs. Rees was born Oct. 2, 1905, in Paisley, Scotland, a daughter of John and Sarah R. Roy Black. She came to the United States and Washington, Pa., in 1906. She lived in St. Petersburg, Fla., from 1968 to 1987.
She had been a clerk in the shoe department of Strouss-Hershberg Department Store downtown for 20 years, and worked in the same capacity at Montgomery Ward in St. Petersburg for 10 years. She was a member of the church, British War Veterans Association and Daughters of Scotia No. 153 of Youngstown and No. 234 of St. Petersburg.
Her first husband, Nicholas R. Errington, whom she married Dec. 31, 1926, died Dec. 31, 1950. Her second husband, John T. Rees, whom she married in 1968, died in 1973.
She leaves a son, George E. Errington of Youngstown; a daughter, Florence Mather of Ashland, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
A son, Nicholas R. Errington; four brothers, John D., James K., George T. and Alexander Black; and a sister, Marion R. Pekarcik, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home and for one hour before services Monday in the church.
