WARREN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church for Rose Marie Smith, 76, of 2950 Carlton Drive, N.W., who died Wednesday morning in her residence after a long illness.
Mrs. Smith was born July 12, 1924, in Farrell, Pa., a daughter of Stephen P. and Mary Banish, and lived in Newton Falls before coming to Warren. A 1942 graduate of Newton Falls High School, she was employed at the Newton Falls Lumber Yard and American Welding. She was a member of the church and enjoyed traveling and playing bingo.
Besides her husband, William J., whom she married Sept. 17, 1967, she leaves a brother, Andrew R. Banish of Brooklyn, Ohio.
Two sisters, Anna M. Layshock and Genevieve Banish, and two brothers, John J. and Steven Banish, are deceased.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday in the church.
The Sinchak & amp; Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
