MERCER COUNTY Events to aid animals and related groups

SHARON, Pa. -- Three animal assistance organizations will conduct programs the next two weekends.
The Humane Society of Mercer County will have a Pet Adoption Fair from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at its new location behind Robert's Kennels at 2662 Wilson Road, Hermitage. A variety of dogs and cats is available.
The group will also have a bake sale and an Easter egg hunt for children at 1 p.m. that day.
Animal Appeal of Sharpsville will feature artist Linda M. Clark in a portrait demonstration from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Shenango Valley Community Library in Sharon.
She will do portraits from photos of pets or children, and proceeds will go to Animal Appeal and the library.
Pet Solutions of Mercer will have a display of cats available for adoption from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. April 28 at the Shenango Valley Mall. The cats are spayed or neutered and immunized.
